Crochet Surgery with Louisa Sheward

Skill Level: All - Beginner +

Louisa learnt to crochet at 5 years old and in her late twenties decided to start teaching and share her beloved crochet skills. To date, she has never had a beginner leave without being able to navigate the beginnings of a granny square…touch wood! Louisa can teach left or right handed.

Louisas crochet surgeries host a maximum of 8 people, ensuring that all attendees get the help and advice they need. They are suitable for both complete beginners needing to learn the basics and improvers looking to develop their skills.

Yarn and hooks are not included - please bring along your hooks and yarn, or purchase some from our shop. Beginners you will need a 5mm hook and some DK or aran weight yarn.

Beginners start off getting to grips with holding the hook and yarn with a simple granny square. Once they are more confident, we move on to which ever projects they wish to work on.

Improvers tend to have projects they would like to work on, but we are also able to provide help and inspiration in finding a project to help develop your crochet skills.
