Easy Peasy Poncho

My crochet regulars wanted to create light weight ponchos with the Katia Paint cakes and so the Easy Peasy Poncho became one of their faves. I had a request last weekend to share the pattern - if you can even call it that!

Here's the how to, you'll need:

Chain 130 (use a 5mm hook for this), join last chain to first chain with a slip stitch to form a loop (change back to 4mm hook)

Round 1: Chain 1, double crochet into every chain round, slip stitch into first stitch to join

Round 2: Chain 3, 2 treble into same stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 3 treble crochets*, repeat from * to * 10 more times, chain 2, 3 treble crochets into same stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 3 treble crochets*, repeat from * to * to the 21 more times, chain 2, 3 treble crochets into same stitch, *skip 2 stitches, 3 treble crochets*, repeat from * to * to end of round.  Slip stitch into first stitch to join.

Round 3-end:

·       Slip stitch into next space, chain 3, 2 treble crochet into same space

·       3 treble crochet into every normal space

·       3 treble crochet, 2 chains, 3 treble crochet into every chain  2 space

·       Slip stitch to first stitch to join at end of round
