A Christmas Cowl Crochet Along

We’ve all got them…yarn scraps lurking in the yarn box, ghosts of projects past taking up valuable storage space.

From 1st-24th December we are hosting a crochet along on our Instagram account, with the vision of using up your scraps in your desired weight and making yourself a cowl to wear on Christmas Day. You can, of course, just use one or two skeins of yarn if you prefer.

There’s no maximum length to the cowl, make a small one or carry on as long as you wish for a cowl with two or even three wraps. There’s no rules!

The basic pattern will be posted on our Instagram story (and saved in our highlights) on the 1st December 2018, how to join the two ends of the cowl will be will be posted on the 17th December, and the boarder on the 22nd December. You’ll be able to use #achristmascowlcal to share your progress and view others.

You’ll need 100 - 150g of scraps for a small cowl, ideally each one should be at least 5-10g

Hope you’ll join us!
